Susan Wilbur is a certified Brain Gym Practitioner licensed through the International Kinesiology Foundation in Ventura, California. www.braingym.org.

Her mother, Flora Arnold, introduced Susan Wilbur to Brain Gym in 1984.  At the time Susan was teaching Physical Education and Health in a middle school in Providence, Rhode Island.  Her extra curricular activities included coaching various sports, officiating gymnastics and track and teaching dance and drama.  But known only to her mother and twin sister, Susan was a dyslexic non- reader. In 1984 Flora Arnold traveled from Maine to Pennsylvania to take Paul Dennison Ph.D.’s Brain Gym. course.  Upon returning to Maine she stopped in Rhode Island and  Flora shared Brain Gym with her daughter.  A week after the introduction to Brain Gym, Susan was reading normally for the first time in her life.  Since then she has been sharing and teaching Brain Gym to parents, teacher, administrators, and student-athletes.  Susan retired from teaching in 2001 and immediately became a certified Brain Gym Practitioner, teaching and using Brain Gym with clients and school systems.  Having moved to Massachusetts upon her retirement from teaching, Susan is helping students deal with MCAS testing and other learning problems.
